401k plan

Entertainment Industry 401k Plan

  • The Entertainment Industry 401(k) Plan was created to provide Retirement Benefits for "Daily Hire" Union Members in the Entertainment Industry.
  • The Entertainment Industry 401(k) Plan is the companion plan to the Entertainment Industry Flex Plan (health benefits) under the Entertainment Industry Benefit Plans umbrella.
  • This plan is a self-directed plan. Each participant may choose between the investment options as well as a US Treasuries Fund.
  • The investments are handled by Fidelity Investments.
  • Contributions may be from one of three sources:
     1   Employer Contributions
     2   Employee Pre-tax Contributions
     3   Employees may put additional funds into their account
          on an after tax basis, simply by writing a check to the
          401(k) Plan.
  • Balances may be checked 24 hours a day through the internet or by calling a toll-free number with a PIN (personal identification number). Investment elections may be changed through our Member Services Department.
  • There is no cost for trades involving these funds by members of this plan.
  • Members will receive quarterly statements from the 401(k) Plan detailing employer contributions and payments as well as investment activity and performance.
Flex Plan

Entertainment industry Flex Plan

  • The Entertainment industry Flex Plan was established in 1985 to provide Health and related benefits for "Daily-Hire" Union employees working under Collective Bargaining Agreements in the Entertainment Industry.
  • The Flex Plan provides benefits to more than 14,000 union members Nation wide.
  • The Entertainment Industry Flex Plan is an employee benefit plan which combines both Employer Contributions and employee Contributions to fund a full array of benefits, including welfare benefits such as medical, disability, life insurance and dependent care assistance.
