Executive Board Minutes January 9, 2012
- All Officers and Board Members were present with the exception of:
- Recording Secretary: Perry Russell ...absent recovering from surgery.
- Board Members: Ken Romano and Philip Doyle ...absent.
Correspondence * New business * Contributions
- Meeting convened at 1:30 PM
- New Members, Withdrawal Cards, Vacation Changes accepted as read.
- Checking on status of website for Pension and a link to our site.
- The Treasurer’s report accepted as read.
The Business Manager's Report
CBS:
- Sports: Business Manager and Reps made site visits to Broadcast Center and Met Life Stadium.
- MDC: Grievance meeting held with company on behalf of three members. Grievance settled.
- Contract: Conference call held with International on finalization of language of CBA.
- Late Show: Business Manager and Reps attended retirement party for Dave Dorsett. Dave has worked for over 55 years in the industry, at the Ed Sullivan Show, CBS Evening News and The David Letterman Show. Dave has been a loyal, dedicated member of the IBEW; his input is greatly appreciated and will be truly missed.
FOX Sports:
- Attended meeting with International Reps and Business Managers to discuss proposals for upcoming negotiations. Negotiations scheduled for the week of February 13th.
MSG:
- Away Feed Grievance meeting held with company. Grievance was settled. Meeting held with members on December 7th to discuss settlement.
WNJU:
- Negotiations continue. Next scheduled during the week of January 16th.
WADO:
- Contract ratified by members.
OFFICE:
- No Reports.

Meeting called to order at 4:30 PM.
- The reading of the Executive Board minutes and last month’s General meeting minutes were waived.
